Been out giving everything a light rub down with 600 grade. I couldn't find any 1200 Done a little more degreasing on the engine and now waiting for the midday Sun to pass before going out an applying the final coat of paint.

And I have finished the final coat of paint on everything. Mixed a bit too much so painted a couple of extras as to not waste the paint.





I'm looking forward to the rebuild, but weather forecast is crap for the rest of the week.

fingers crossed the weather picks up for you, today I removed some tat before taking my nan to see her newest great grandson, only 4 days old and his name is billy and he's as cute as can be.....

looks like you've got your hands full with that lot carl i take it your rubbing that tank back down to get an even surface as its looking a little sh1t !!.

I'm surprised you didn't just mask off the lights and spray the rest in situ.......

Oh yeh, I know that looks sh1t but the rest is pukka. I had some paint left over and didn't want to waste it so slapped it on the tank real thick to get of of it. The frame and everything does have a slight brushed look to it, but is no worse than Orange peel you get when spraying. If I want it perfectly smooth and I can be bothered it would polish up smooth.
