Thanks for you help today AP, good work  I have juts re-routed some of the wires up front and tidied things up. it's all looking good. I discovered ther was a extra drain or breather pipe hanging down on the left. Don't know where that's from as everything is accounted for.
Fingers crossed that the old windings come out with minimum swearing :?
Easy job mate. The hardest part is getting the gene cover off as it tries to pull back on with the magnetic pull. No need to drain the oil either if the bike is upright on a paddock stand or something. You'll only get a tablespoon of oil leakage
Ordered tyre Sunday night from Tyre leader, arrived today, and £35, yes £35 cheaper than in the uk :D , what's that all about :?
Rip off Britain. Where's Trye leader?

Near enough. brakes and clutch need bleeding. Front sprocket bolt, fit carbs, airbox, exhaust and fairings and it's done.

Fixed the speedometer. It stopped working for no apparent reason the other day. Turned out to be the speed sensor. Luckily I had a spare :D

Other then that just some basic checks and a quick clean before heading off to the Isle of Man tomorrow :D

That "or something" could even be an old git with a good bladder that doesn't mind standing around all afternoon

Watch out for leakage, that could be nasty :shifty:

Took the Hound for it's MOT, which surprisingly it sailed through!!

Then filled it with petrol, which it promptly pissed all over the forecourt. That leak under the tank from the fuel level sender is back

Edit - turns out there should be a new o-ring installed. Ordered and should fix it, thanks Wicky and Lloydie
