Swing arm conversion for a storm/streetfighter

I know its been a past topic but i'm new to the site and would appreciate a bit of direct advice!!!
I'mm looking to fighter my storm and have been informed that the swing arm from a vfr800 (singlt sider) fits directing into my frame. Is this so and if so, which model vfr and do i need to drill/majorly alter anything. I don't mind minor tinkering but don't want to do anything too drastic!!! I'm thinking of the rear shock in particular. Will mine fit the arm or the arms fit my bike??
Any help on this would be thankfully recieved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
