Trip Meter?

Post by welshy »

Guys & Gals.

I am on my 2nd VTR, a testimony to how good they are! When I turn the ignition off the trip meter zeros itself. Now this is a pain when I use it to work out when the next tenner from my wallet is gonna be needed at the petrol station. It never happened on my ole VTR? Any ideas?

Cheers

I assume youve got one of the new digital dashs then. I dont know the answer but I do know mine doesnt do that!

Might be worth checking the connections at the back of the dash in case something isnt in right (ie one of the permanent live connections)

Obviously Im making this all up as I go along so its not my fault if this is all bollix!

It's digital Odometer, analogue speedo and rev counter.

Doesn't seem to be any wires anging out the back. Had a bit of a jiggle! no luck. Not the most mechanically minded me!

Summin broke - Hit it with hammer.
Still broke - Hit it with bigger hammer.
