I'm fitting my MIGs today.
Anybody happen to know exactly what size pillion peg spacers they use?
I'm gonna have to make some anyway. Any ideas on best material and where I get it? I have some steel tube I'm going to use at the moment.
Just gonna be a pain in the ass offering everything up and trying to measure stuff, so seeing if I can get a head start off anybody here.

Works a treat too.

Just some longer bolts with the same thread size as the pillion bolts, some stainless washers and some patience.
Was dead easy tbh, but sadly my MIGs are totally shagged.
Its the old adage: "ebay bargains suck ass"
Brand new ones would be good though, even though I've now noticed that because they sit so very close to the bike (which is why they look so fab) they've melted the plastic wrap on my rear brake hose. Might be worth looking at when you fit them just to make sure its not sitting close to the link pipes.

Yeah. They need a total rebuild, which is gonna be more like £150. New packing, new sleeves, new internals, new end caps etc.sirch345 wrote:If it's just the packing can't they be re-packed KitchKitch wrote: but sadly my MIGs are totally shagged.![]()
Chris.
They're gonna get "projected" at some point with hacking the cans off and fitting some new ones to the link pipes.
Tehy'd make great slash cut stubby MotoGP style ones.
