My project - latest pics

Post by Ernie Cooley »

Having bought the 04 Firestorm in bits, it has taken some pulling together (6 months and a bit) lots of ebay purchases, repairs, re-spray and lots of TLC. Originally Red in colour this is how it arrived:

I took some pics this morning of the current status. Hopefully, taxed, tested and on the road by next week!

Repaired tank with white decals

Repaired fairings with white decals

LED indicators, replaced seat unit, new seat and seat cowl (I know it does not fit properly on that seat, I have a spare which the cowl will go on for solo rides, and the big comfy seat for trips out with the missus

Will upload the picture of the finished artice in a week or so, will also let you know how them gold wavy's work out.

If anyone can get these pics into this site without having to refer to the http addresses I would be very grateful, I tried using the IMG tags but it does not seem to work.

Is it just me or has that damaged tank been painted every colour under the sun.
Looks like it has also been blue and yellow before it was red????
