clutch Levers....

Post by chuxsta »

my suspicions of the clutch lever been bent were confirmed today when i looked at another storm next to mine.

i thought it looked a bit bowed when i first got the bike but wasn't sure..

it looks like it was knocked off the stand or fell against a wall cause there are no other tell tale signs of damage from a drop on that side..

so im looking for some levers i have found some standard ones for like a tenner. but fancy some after market sexier ones..
but all the sites i have found do storm levers up to year 2001-2 models..
i cant find any thing for the 2004 model i have..

is there any difference to the fittings from the 2004 model to anything pre2000?

Edit - >
just found these, any of you heard any thing about them or tried them?

I bought my clutch lever from the States as the lever was cheaper and so was the postage

Pazzoracing and CRG levers (essentially the same) are absolutely awesome!!! Had some on my CBR and loved them. Bloody expensive though!!

nice one... would be nice to see them on a storm..

you got the shorty or the long ones?

was tempted with the shorty on the break and long on the clutch.. i only ever use my 2 fingers on the break any way..
but have to use all my fingers on the clutch cause my arm has never been right since i snapped it in 2 from a crash..

i think they are the long ones but fine to use, the adjusters are good as when i wear heavy winter gloves in the rain i can easily move the leaver and return it to normal position when wearing summer gloves. i'll try and get some up to date pics of the whole bike now i've nearly finished tinkering with it.
