does anyone know the service life of the cam chains ? iam gona get my cct's done and thinking about getting the camchains done at the same time does anyone have any idears .
wheres the road kill............?

mines done 70,200 mls with no engine work, just good oil every 5,000mls.

well i got a quote from the bike shop for doing the cct's for £62.50 and to be honest it is one job i have been putting off because i would have to take my own tools to work and faff on getting the job done, but the biggest reason for getting the cct's done in a bike shop is that if the engine goes tits up afterwoulds then its up to them to rebuild it as its easy done to get something wrong when your messing with cct's n retiming the engine and stuff

Sounds very cheap,is that fitting only,with you suppling them? even if it is,it sounds a great price .
I'd pay that for the piece of mind it brings.
