Bodywork swap with other owners ...Colour change- tank etc

Post by bikerpiker »

Just a thought...wondering if anyone on this forum has done a bodywork swap with another member ,ie, swap a beerbelly for six-pack    ..............
you know what i mean, a change of colour, ie, tank, cowl, tail-unit ,fairing, mudguard -- red for black, yellow for silver etc etc.
Or mix n match, did see one that had red and black parts fitted, imo looked good.(maybe best stickin to a max of 2 colours). :?:

Surely if both parties bits n bobs were the same condition, there would no probs, just inform dvla of change of colour. 8)
An afternoons work and you'd have a "new" bike.
Only problem i can see is there might not be enough red ones to go around

8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Mine's already RED why on earth would I want to change it when it's already the fastest colour? 8)

Although I can understand owners of non RED Storms wanting to improve their looks by upgrading to RED

Would consider Orange, just to be different, but what i would REALLY like and i think would look cool, is one the same colour as my Kwak, never seen a green storm.
What about this one?

It's red but then - oh never mind!

And when i had my Storm it was the fastest colour, Black, so why would i have changed it.

There is an orange one for sale in Bradford Morotcycles.

BTW mine started life in slow Red, tis now much smarter and seems considerably faster in Black with white decals
