Hello one and all, quick run down for you, i have just got my 4th storm, trouble is the front end was kindly taken out by a car so the forks are shot, hence why i got it sooooo cheap.
As i cannot find neither storm forks / wheel / or fairing on ebay / breakers i was wondering this.
it seems a lot upgrade to a full front end off the fireblade RRT-RRV.
i know they have the exact same head bearings, as do all the cbr600's, and vfr800's.
so is it simply a case of swapping top and bottom yokes and then slide the forks in? or is there more to it?
any help greatly appreciated as i need it for work and am on a tight budget. looks like i may even have to turn it into a naked fighter, but the the rads look awful exposed dont they
many thanks
Kirk

Hi Mozza
Welcome Aboard
A few storms on here have had the CBR front end grafted on. I don't remember the details but I think they are a bit shorter than Standard and a bit of rearrangement with the clip ons needs to be done. I'm sure someone will come along with a more useful post
If not, AndyC is in the middle of a rebuild and might still have some spares if you're quick.

Welcome aboard Mozza
I'm surprised you've not been able to find another set of forks as there have been quite a few bikes being broken on ebay recently
Here is a link for the earlier Fireblade front end fitting. Using these forks require less modifying than if you went for the USD (up side down) later Fireblade conversion.
