Posted the other day asking for help to get the storm to start when cold. Well after trying a few thing to no avail decided to take the starter motor off and clean it. As soon as i took off that little rubber cap covering the lead connector i could see that thing were not going to be easy. The cap had let in water over time and everything under it was rusty. To cut an even longer story short once this lot was treated to some TLC and a hole load of grease to stop water getting in again the storm now fires up with the choke pulled out full after 2 (yes 2) revolutions. Moral is if you are having simalar probs to me, have a look at this but if you are not then maybe get some grease around the end of the lead so that next winter this doesn`t happen to you.
Hope this help
Paul
