Think its a Storm Part 2 IT IS A STORM

Post by andy c »

following on from the earlier part

http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB2/viewtopic ... highlight=

Finally its done got it built and running its going for its MOT tomorrow.
Because of financial restrictions (skint) thought i'd try and get a cheap storm on the road I set my self a limit of £1000 i new for that money it wouldn't be a concours bike but even so i think its smart

Cost

1 bike no engine, no nuts and bolts, lots of other odds and sods missing aswell.
1 cat b bike right hand side destroyed sump smashed (did get a sump with the other bike) oil pump smashed clutch cover holed
Clutch cover from Beast
oil pump and a few bits from Honda
postage costs for parts sold on here (still got some stuff left will do a list for here before ebaying the rest)

Minus

The parts sold on here

the bike has cost me £738 !!!

Will be doing got the standard one painting it black but with just putting the sump back on thought i'd leave the belly pan off to make it easier to spot any oil leaks

The stubby cans sound great, front half of right one was mashed so took them to bits cut them down to 250mm and put the end caps back on can't believe how easy it was
