Undecided CB1000R

Post by Beamish »

Caught my first glimpse of the CB1000R today, not too sure. Looks very small (slim and low) but I bet its an absolute hoot to ride. This particular bike was in metallic black. I will try to blag a ride this week .

a couple of people have been coming over to a bike meet we have been having up here on a wed night on one for the past couple of weeks, it does look small and compact, they say it is great, handles very well but is de-tuned a bit to much at the top end but you are struggling to hold onto it at 130 anyway, lol.

I think they look sweet...

Depends what your riding atm I suppose though? Youve an older carbed one atm havnt you Beamish?

I cant coment on the brand new 1000RR but have done quite a few miles on an 01 929 blade.

After the storm I found it boring as...not enough character (whatever you judge that to be ) Fast as fook 8O but not as much fun as the storm.

Best thing is a test ride, make your own mind up then

Spot on there mate, the blade is a bit dull but I would tour on it no problemo. Just about finished the refurb so will enjoy the summer then decide what to do next. I do fancy an SP or 998 duke though.
