Know what you mean. Some of the corners he took flat there were peeps going round almost putting their feet down.

Bet some of them lept out their skin as he came past, need eyes in the back of your head there 8O
Yup ,one of them was probably me then   ,its a great ride only thing i found this year was every time we tried to get on it roads were closed.Last time (2005) you could have a ride round after the races, this year the practices were on (not winging enjoyed that too). But there seemed to be alot of closures due to accidents.Even got stuck in Kirkmicheal for 2hrs ,road closed in & out 'cos of accidents 8O
At least the sun was shining ,layed out on someones front lawn :D :D

Timbo,
A few of the folk he passed must have thought WTFWT, pretty quick, I was grabbing a fair bit of front brake myself especially when on the approach to a corner the unsuspecting rider in front starts to line it up only to be beaten in to the corner by a rocket
In my dreams

Cheers

Pretty impressive

Don't those bloody cones spoil it!!!??

That section from Kates Cottage to Creg is superb at high speed, but the cones really screw it. Verandah ruined too 8O

Can't figure out why he gunned it away from Creg giving blue sky then slowed right down before Brandish??? :? :? That's a full speed (or damn near) bend down to Hillberry

A few misdemeanours even for Mad sunday too - pretty sure that although the speed restrictions are lifted in all but villages, it was still an offence to cross a solid line this year!

Wierd.

Oh well, only another 5 weeks or so and we'll be there again - awesome

The whole section from kates is now limited during TT. 50 or 60 I think which is why the guy was taking brandish so slow. The cones are really sh*te as well.

Its grand prix in a couple of weeks (end august) and the road is closed one way for that as well but WAY less traffic. Less closures for accidents and a more relaxed vibe. Its a much better time to come and have a play IMO.

Give us a shout if your over then Red. Meet up for a beer?
