sh1t sh1t sh1t !!!!!!
first ride in to work, in a straight line the tope yoke is slightly to the right which i can easily adjust, distinctive knock from the headstock under hard breaking, yet i have tightened it as much as required if not a little more.
So i guess worse case, change bottom yoke and bearings, see what MOT boys say.

Kirk, are they new (2nd hand) yokes?mozza71 wrote:So i guess worse case, change bottom yoke and bearings, see what MOT boys say.
Looking at the initial damage to the Storm, I'd say the chance of the originals not being damaged are absolute nil !!
Mine wasn't as badly damaged as yours although it did have banana forks and the front downpipe had a gas tight seal where the front wheel crushed it, but my yoke was still out enough to cause probs.
Did you have any lining up probs when re-fitting forks? if the holes were not in damn near perfect alignment then the bottom yoke is damaged.
Fairly easy to check if you have a set square (90 degree) - check from all angles (pardon the pun), front - back - left - right, at least.
Not sure, but I might have a good 'spare' bottom yoke knocking about, think I went daft once over and bought one on flebay that I didn't need.
Let me know if yours is goosed and I'll have a dig for it to confirm.
