just found this page for recalls of vehicles.
good to see the storm has only had one recall, but worth checking your other bikes or cars ...

Hi Chaz,

Good find, as it will cover 'all' vehicles.

Posted this a while ago...

IMO it's not just the 'recalls' that are the worry, it's the 'Product Updates'

Pretty sure owners are traced via DVLA or similar for 'product recalls'

Where the manufacturer is alerted to an issue, usually by distributers / dealerships getting numerous returns with same problems.
While they may not be 'dangerous' or potentially 'life threatening' causing a product recall, they are never the less flaws in design, manufacture or components.

Dealrships etc are notified by fax or more probably these days e-mail and replacement 'upgraded' components or remapping of brains etc is 'ONLY' done if a customer returns vehicle with that specific complaint!

ie carburation problems at low speed / revs, causing stalls (see the carb issues thread that caused the K&N 'debate')
