First off, good luck. Not saying you'll need it but I hope all goes smoothly.

First off, don't overlook that it's your responsibility to register the change of ownership details correctly with the DVLA, not the new owners. They might take care of the export but you're liable for the paperwork. So I'd ensure you're not missing something in all this if I were you.

I sold my last Hornet to a bloke in the Canadian airforce - he contacted me beforehand and I arranged cash on collection only.
He bought the bike to travel around Europe on before his post in the UK started. Met him at Leeds station on time, took him back to mine and did the deal - he was great, no probs. He even crashed on my sofa as he was planning on setting up his tent somewhere! He loaded the bike up the next day and left. Had a few emails and photos off him on the trip, shame he dumped it on it's side in the South of France.....it was mint!
Perseverance takes too long....
