My other bike (not a Storm)

Post by Ratty »

Been asked to post this thread here too, this is my other bike which I've owned for a while, over the last couple of years I've changed it a lot to make it better suited to my needs:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seeing as so many people liked my newest bike (the firestorm/superhawk) maybe you'll like this.

My trusty steed known as 'The Scud', I've owned it for a couple of years and have ridden it many many thousands of miles. It was originally a Honda Bros (nt400) but has had a thousand different mods since I've owned it.

Transalp 650 Lump

Home-made chain oiler.
Home-made headlamp brackets.
Jota handle bars
Home-made risers.
Filled in wheel.
Highway bars.
Ammo-can toolbox.
Twin 7" lights
cat-eye reap lamp.
Revere 19 Litre tank.
Home made front rack.
Home made sissy bar.
Massive Exhaust from a Subaru Imprezza (got it off ebay for a £1) shown in 2nd photo.
Extended sidestand by welding a 17mm socket on the end (to cope with fireblade rear shock)
Headlight grill made from a shopping basket.
Home made under-bar mirror.
Random indicators from different bikes, stuck on with tape.
Army pouch saddle bags.
All painted in black Masonary paint from the local DIY store.

Another classic.

In these difficult financial times, It's good to see that someone is single handedly keping the matt black paint industry afloat

Keep up the good work Ratty.

Maybee a Ducati 1098 rat bike next !!!
