Tell me I have done the right thing!!!!

Post by Jim67 »

Hi all,
Here's a big hello to everyone!!!!
Just picked up a 97P with 13000 on the clock which is a minter!!!
Its a bit different to my 600 Bandit I traded in!!! I thought the bandit sounded nice with the stubby I had on but this firestorm with the carbon scorpion cans on takes the biscuit!!!

I look forward to having some good discussions with you lot and also hope to get some good pointers and advice.

Again Hi to all.
Cheers,
Jim.

Welcome aboard Jim :!: :D

You're the best one to answer your question as it's a personal choice thing IMHO. A big V twin is definitely different than an in-line four. The Storm is all about torque or grunt as you put it, whereas in-line 4's are more about rev's :!:

Nearly all Storm owners on here are bound to say you've done the right thing me included, but we are biased because we luv our Storms :!:

don't be TOO disappointed, will you

Had mine 8 years now and apart from buying a TDM90 for touring, I don't know why I would want a different bike!
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
