Moriwaki raced them but the parts can be hard to come by.
The Moriwaki or Rumi race bikes put out 140 rwbhp+ but thats some serious money.
The best advice I can give regards tuning woul dbe to talk to Roger at Revolution Racing - he's tuned loads of Storms, can get Moriwaki race parts and knows his stuff.

I emailed Rodger, nice chap. Said, pretty much, although I can't remember all the details: Blueprint engine (basically means smoothing out all the internals), Moriwaki cams and a dyno run (or two). Must have a full race exhaust system, will push out near 150BHP and cost 1500GBP.
I don't have the cash to do that, but it's not bad considering what you could buy for that money. Say my track bike is worth 1500GBP, what V-Twin (would have to be a v-twin) could I get for 3K? A RSV, 999, SP-1? But do they make 150? More like 130...Alternatively you could buy an R1 etc, making 160bhp, but then a completely diffent bike.
It's not bad value really....
Mind you there was a Firestorm on ebay that had the above modification. I think it was a buy it now for 2K if I remember... so you won't get your money back on the modification, probably.
Don't have the email sorry.
Ultimately though, I can't ride it to it's maximum now, so adding another 40bhp would be wasted, or make me "cheat", i.e. relying on power rather than corner speed.
Dear Martin,
Thank you for your enquiry.
If your bike has a standard exhaust or severely baffled end cans (eg
Quill T3) attached to standard header pipes there is only a SMALL genuine
BHP power gain despite the maker's claims both of Dynojet kits and the
exhaust. However there will be an improvement in throttle response and fuel
economy.
The standard UK bike is generally 102 bhp and if you fit a dynojet kit
and K&N filter with FREE FLOW exhaust cans (not road legal) you can expect
106bhp - 108bhp) The cost of supplying and installing the Dynojet kit and
K&N filter is £235.00
If you wished to go further then the installation of Moriwaki ST1
camshafts into "gas flowed and ported" cylinder heads generally produces
116bhp - 118bhp PROVIDED that a FULL aftermarket exhaust is used (eg
Ackropovic, Yoshimura etc, etc) the cost of this engine tune is £1485.00
PLUS the cost of the exhaust system selected. Used exhaust systems appear on
Ebay on a regular basis."
I got the power output wrong... my email above now doesn't make sense... 1500GBP for a 18bhp increase, now doesn't seem like a worthwhile opportunity... mind you, a full exhaust and K&N seems OK value....
If it were me, and it's not already been done, I'd spend some money on a decent rear shock and get the forks done. More benefit than increasing the engine output.

Chris
will have ohlins all round fully set up ect when the bike gets built
But isnt the email quoting 118BHP at the rear wheel? That would mean a decent improvement over OE. Not sure about the logic though when a mille or SP could be a bargain winter buy.

* It's OK no need to panic, I realise that was the wording from the seller you bought the bike from
Chris.
PS. Yes I remember the bike well after Del did all that work on it, very impressive (Del and myself came up with the same idea for the CCT mod) Iirc it was owned by a one of our members called Robin.
No fork mods! Quite suprised after all the impressive other mods.
