Dead Spot

Post by Dagger »

Hi.

I serviced my bike a few days ago. New Oil and Oil Filter . And then i decided to buy a Pipercross filter. I installed the filter but now when im between 4 and 6k rpm it feels like a dead spot and after that like a rocket.

I havent replaced the plugs yet ? Any suggestions

Yes
it's a known problem with race filters. They can make the fuel mixture a little week between 4-6k. Try putting a 0.6 mm washer under each of the needles. That should raise them and richen the mixture a bit in the mid range. If not an original Honda filter will sort the problem.
