FAIRING INDICATORS

Hi everyone hope some one can help me i have just bought some slimline replacement front fairing indicators and fitted them but i cant get them to work they say 12v on the packaging but they wont work could it poss be the relay even though they are 12v when i try them they dont work but the rear flashes really quickly but this could be because the fromt isnt working help please?

Check the wattage of the bulbs they need to be the same back and front
When you have the bulbs just make sure the filament is ok to

not led indicators by any chance are they?
4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul...........

Sounds like LED ones, for sure.

And if you get the wires crossed they might not work, some are specific about which is the pos and which is the neg connector wires.

Try reversing the polarity, if they all flash at a fast rate then either fit an in-line resistor (Hein Gericke do a nice looking one) or get a flasher unit designed for LED's.

Otherwise your wiring's shot somewhere, stick a meter on them.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

thanks for the replies,they are def not leds thet are the small 12v amber bulbs i'll try and find find out what wattage the bulbs are will that make a difference if they are not all the same?
