Hi folks names Chris
Have had inline 4's for the last 15 yrs now and fancy a change - took a mates VTR out and was impressed so im on the lookout for a Firestorm.
Im in Surrey so if you know of any for sale pls give me a shout - ill also start trawling the for sale area.

hello mate, keep looking some nice ones for sale at the moment.
1998 Firestorm, 47,000 miles, forks valved & sprung, proflex shock +4mm over standard, manual ccts', k&n, 50#slow 185#/190# mains, front carb slide mod, R6 throttle tube, Tank raised, Viper cans, Coerce fork brace, EBC lite front discs & pads.

Pleased too hear you're sorted, see that didn't take long :)

You'll have to adopt a different riding style after years of in-line fours. Change up from first into second gear asap for a smoother change. Also you won't need to rev the big V twin to get it moving quickly as you did with in-line fours.

Sorry for Clayderman's loss, but perhaps in time you will be able to get another :!:
