Bikerpiker - Firestorm and Bandit .

Post by bikerpiker »

OK...I'll be the first to post in this new section

Here's my bike ,not too many mods to report compared to some,....Moriwaki style belly-pan , iridium double-bubble screen , renthal type bars/risers , braided hoses , rear hugger and front fenda extenda, mirror spacers, baffleoctomy :D ... ohh, and wee indicators and sticky hard plastic patch each side of seat-unit :)

Right.....due to me selling my Firestorm cos of aches n pains when riding it over a longish distance, i've went and bought this ,...It's an O2 Reg Bandit 1200S, done only 7,500 miles , it's basically all standard , it's got FSH and i got it for under 2k , ,the problem being ive still got aches n pains :( .........och well.....it was worth a try

I done more miles riding it home yesterday than it has done in the past year ,everything on it is like new , very long tax and test ,new battery ,brand new Battleaxe front tyre ,only thing is it's a Macadam on the back, but its only done 300 miles or so ,as the bike was hardly used.

Anyway ,heres a few pics of my Bandit 1200s :!:

You little devil you Stevie  the first pic I saw when opening your post was your old bike, I though for a second you'd bought it back

I think you did very well in getting this new bike for less than 2k. It's not the easiest thing to find a standard-ish Bandit as you've found.

I'll ask you what you think of it once you've had time to adjust to it a bit more and ride it when it's dry  It looks immaculate going by the pic's :!:

Chris.

PS. You must be happier now you've got yourself another bike :!:

Looks like a real bargin. That back tyre should keep you going for a few years yet  My Big bro had one on his CBR 6 and only changed it cause he couldn't destroy it and got board of wheel spins

Hi mate ,aye, the straightish bars take a bit of gettin used to ,ones with the grips that sweep back more would be better probably.
