OK guys, I'm about to embark on the fork spring swap, I got my RaceTech rprings in the mail, and now I am going to have the correct springs in the bike, the stockers were way WAY to soft for my bulk
I wonder what the stock fork oil is? Honda SS-8 does not help much. I'v been told to use the 5wt, does this sound correct?
I will most likely put the standard stuff in and go from there, I don't want to change too many things at one time.
Now a couple of quick questions;
The forks are conventional cartridge types, correct?
The "Top-Out" springs are Internal, or Extrenal? I think that they are Internal, but I got to check I guess.
I also have to set the preload by cutting spacers, I guess I got to figure that out.
I'll be replacing the oil, and taking the forks off the bike to do this.
If any of you have some helpful tips, please speak up.
Cheers!
