Whats it worth?

Post by Squiffythewombat »

Hi Guys,

Recently aquired an 03 storm in mint showroom condition recently for a bit of a steal. 23 thou on the clock (tis the last of the storms im told with digi dash, FUEL GAUGE, and larger tank) everything else is standard apart from heated grips. Its currently got no cans or brake pedal but watching a few on ebay as i type. Obviously its been standing for some years so doesnt have tax/test/V5 yet.

So whats it roughly worth? I dont really have the space for it and would rather sell cheaply and get rid of it now? Any ideas? Could trackday it maybe?

Pics to follow...

Also for those in the know, FINALLY GOT A STUNT BIKE - GS500, fitting engine bars tomorrow, +7 on the rear sprocket, gonna be fun...pratice crash pratice crash pratice crash)

Hi Toby,
The Firestorm is worth as much as you can get for it :biggrin

I think Parkers prices are a bit optimistic for todays economic climate (see link)
http://www.parkers.co.uk/motorbikes/use ... deriv=5973

But you can always come down in price. Clean tidy and well looked after models always sell at some point, good luck with it,

Chris.

PS. IMHO you would be better off getting the log document before advertising it. Potential buyers can be put off when they read there's no V5 and move on to the next one for sale that has the log doc.

I'd agree with that Chris.

There are so many storms (and bikes in general...) for sale at the moment it's important to get it right.

I suppose its a bit "how longs a piece of string" re:price :? Just depends what someone will pay on the day I suppose...I know thats not much help...

Good luck with the sale anyway. Being an 03 bike it should fetch a reasonable price.
