Re: Oooo... sunshine.
Good pics Mike,that looks great
I was at Swanage in Dorset last week,it was Carnival week and one of the highlights was watching the Red Arrows last Sat evening doing stunts above the town, fookin amazing they were.
Anyway ,due to tiredness with me driving down through the night,36 hours without sleep and having a few shandies ,i accidently deleted my photos of them by mistake ,..i got some pics of the Red Devils Parachutists on the Wed night though

Great pic's etc Mike, that must have been ace
Stevie, if you haven't taken anymore pic's on the same camera that you deleted the Red Arrows from, there is software about that will reclaim them. Do a google search as I found a free one ages ago that did just that.
Chris.

The thing is , if i had known that deleted pics could be retrieved as long as no other pics were taken on the card, i would've used another camera/memory card for the duration of the holiday ,as both the kids had their cameras with them .
Thanks anyway matey

Great pics Mike. Takes me back to my early days of flying. When I lived in Jersey we used to host the Red Arrows at the flying club Battle of Britain weekend. Never could get a ride though despite offering them the use of my Jag XK120 for the weekend. Met the leader of the Red Devils parachute team on my commecial ground course at London Guildhall Uni. There were also a couple of fast jet pilots coming out of the RAF and getting their commercial licences all paid for by the RAF.
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Well done Mike,
unless you're 6 foot plus the tail-draggers are a problem. I'm 5'9" and landing is a real seat of the pants affair. I have to strain upwards over the console, just to see the threshold! have a go in a Cessna and it'll see like child's play....
God luck with it - keep it up.
