Hi all,
This is being written from the beautiful Italian Cinque Terre - highly recommended!
But down to business, my trusty Storm which hasn't missed a beat has developed a slightly worrying rattle. Details are:
Not very loud
Doesn't seem present when engine cold
Stops completely when clutch is engaged
Doesn't appear if not in gear
Hard to say where it is coming from, but think it is towards the front of the engine area.
Other info: have manual ccts in place, they were put in by local bike shop about 2k miles ago and haven't been touched since. If you do think it is these, do I tighten by simply undoing the locking bolt, turning it maybe 1/4 turn and then locking back up?
Thanks for your responses!
Back to pizza and beer for time being...
Help with worrying noise!

Re: Help with worrying noise!
Agreed with Warby, nothing to it. There's a bearing in there somewhere that starts to wear... it can go for thousands of miles before it fails and even when it does it's no big deal... Change it when you need a new clutch...
No bike (yet).
Re: Help with worrying noise!
Every Honda I know rattles from the clutch.....
Owned a 1997 CB500 that rattled like crazy from the clutch....all disappeared when lever pulled in....
My 2001 Honda 650 single rattled as well....
My neighbour has a 1994 CBR900 which rattles, and several friends etc have Hondas that rattle....
Seems along with cam chain tensioners, its a honda fault
At least the clutch never seems to cause a problem :S
