Advice needed re Baglux tank cover

Would a Baglux tank cover from a 2004 'storm fit ok on a 98 bike?
Or am I right in thinking the tank is larger on the later model?

The later tank capacity is indeed larger mate,..but..i think the outer dimensions are the same, ..as far as i know the fuel capacity was increased due to the underside of the tank being reshaped to fit a smaller airbox

Maybe someone else can confirm if this is correct

Not got concrete proof, but i read that somewhere BP. Yep, I reckon it was sorted by deepening the underside and so the outer dimensionsremained the same.
