yup

Post by mwross1964 »

You know, I was just sitting looking at my bike, which I do often  ,and I'm thinking... for 11 yrs old this bitch is still one of the nicest looking bikes on the road,it looks like what a bike should look like, far better than some of the newer ones.Yes it can be a bitch to ride, rough around the edges far from perfect but by f**k I love it,its a bikers bike,.......its my bike.
Out of all the bikes I have had,I love this the most, this bike is me , and its took a long time to find me..
Thank you firestorm.

The Firestorm is a primeval beast.

An owner of a 98 myself, it's not about looks (as long as it doesn't look like a training shoe on steroids) but that said, the lines, shapes and proportions are spot on for the bike that it is. What makes the Firestorm unique for me is it's purity. Two hearts pumping in unison to produce a raw low end chorus and a satisfyingly primeval rhythm beating (in and around national speed limits ) , the way it can filter & switch like any nimble courier (fabulous handling) and the ease at which it will get you there and the smile on yer face when you arrive is only a question of how wide your face is.

And I've absolutely no compulsion to get an SP.
Starts with a R. Rrrrrrrr. Motorbike!

See, I'm the nutball that went from a 125cc to a 998cc. I had the pick of the 600s but it was my instructor that told me to NOT be afraid of 'thou's.

And I think, like you, i'm in love. Like you said she can be a difficult mistress, but then my girlfriend is 11 years younger than me and therefore equally as troublesome! (though slightly easier to change the oil on....)

We're a lucky bunch, aren't we!
