Hi bud, over the last few months I have experimented with a LOT of exhaust options. these include:
1. 2 into 2 with standard cans baffles drilled then removed.
2. 2 into 2 with scorpion race can.
3. 2 into 1 with Harris shotgun pipes
4. 2 into 1 with 12 inch long termignoni carbon can
5. 2 into 1 with Akrapovic 60mm internal bore carbon race can.
Out of the 5, the termi was the loudest, with a sound resembling a v8 car.
I haver settled on the akra, because it gives out lots of noise, but is a BOOM, rather than a nasty BARK from the scorpion/s or harris item.
Hope this is of use, Chris.

my mate Julian from Basement Bikes in farnowrth bolton had a monster of a 2 into 1 system made for him on his storm he raced this year, it was quite possibley the loudest baddest thing i ever heard, it made the dog across the yard weep and it talk about flames it would throw them a good 2 - 3 feet from the can!

he's since sold the bike it had Blade forks a massive 15 mm spacer on the rear ohlines shock and loads of special bits, dont know if any of the parts are still in but you could email mabe and see.

The beauty of the 2 into 1 on the vtr is it's so easy to do- all you need is a saw that will cut metal, and to have a link pipe made for £30ish.
Then the choice of end cans is yours!!
