Sub zero temperature
Ok will someone please ease my minde I have my beloved VTR stored in a garage and covered BUT there is zero heating, am I putting it in harms way?? I'm thinking of mouldering rubber hoses etc or is it just the battery loosing amp's?

The battery will be the first thing to give you problems. I used to remove mine and keep it indoors when the weather got to freezing and I wasn't going to use the bike.
I have a small oil-filled radiator which sits in my garage on a thermostat, it only cost about £20 and even when it's on really low it still keeps dampness out of the garage and off the bikes.
I wouldn't worry about the hoses, they seem very tough and they perish more due to age than temperature.
