stormless

Post by donk »

Hey up all,

I thought i would put a post out to let you all know i no longer have my little storm. I was given an opportunity to swap it for a ZX9R. I know, i know it's not a twin but can i just say the power from this machine is bloody great and it puts a smile on my face every time i fire her up!!! I would love an SP, so maybe when the time and the funds are right i shall return to the mighty twins. In the meantime i am not swaping sites so your stuck with me!!. Theres some decent fella's on here and am looking forward to meeting up in a mass rideout!!!

Ta ta for now.

By the way, thumbs up if you have met Timbo and love him!!

I'm in the midst of jumping back on an IL4 Donk after many years on twins so I can appreciate where your coming from. I know I'll miss the twin experience-that noise is worth a million alone :(

But-having ridden the bike I'm hoping to get-I know I'll enjoy the seamless, turbine like power :) Plus it'll be a bit more practical for my circumstances atm.

What years your 9?

Oh, I've not met Tim in the flesh so I'll have to pick another smilie :Tongue2:

I think the ZX9R is another underrated bike, a bit like the Firestorm I'd say. The upside is you can pick them up in descent condition for not too much money

I've never ridden one so can't comment on what they're like in that sense,

Chris.

Either you love Timbo or you don't, I'm not sure a trial ride is strictly necessary.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I agree with the others, that is a very fine example. I like the blue too
