MCN This week!

Post by Beamish »

Iconic Japanese bikes. What the hell 8O
Would go with Fireblade, RD350LC, VFR, GSXR 750 but the rest are not iconic IMO......

Discuss......

Will give more info if needed but there are some real shockers in my opinion

RD350LC, RC30, CBX1000, GPz900, R1, Fireblade, I think would be on the final list in any national pole, but on my personal list it would be FS1E, RD350LC, Katana 1000 and either the KH750 or the Z900

If you didnt read it these were the top 10......
1. GSXR 1000 (Ok it did throw down the gauntlet in 2001_
2. Suzuki TL1000S (Sorry dont get it :( )
3. ZRX1100 (again dont get it although do like it)
4. GSXR750 (yep should be in there IMO)
5. VFR750 (yep should be there)
6. Pan Euro (Yep was a world beater)
7. CG125 ( :eek2 nope C50 yes not the CG125)
8. RD350LC (totally agree)
9. Fireblade (totally agree)
10. V Max. (maybe, it did stick it to the world)

No R1, No SP1, No GPZ900. I think the readers have sold MCN a total duffer.

240 miles to a tank! Dont think so mate, they arent all that, tried one........ handed it back. As a side note I don't think the Storm should be on there either though as its not iconic. Surely the only Japanese twin to beat Ducati should be in that top ten though.

It was that good they replaced it with the TLR pdq

Although for me I have to say I like the look of the TLS better than the later TLR.
