That's spooky YL. I was only wondering what you were doing (bike wise) after looking at some pic's of your bike in the kitchen :) only this week. It's good to hear from you again.

I take it you are referring to fitting a swingarm brace to your Firestorm.

The best option seems to be to use a Fireblade swinging arm brace from a CBR900 s/arm. Here's a pic of one Scubadog had on his bike at one time. He had to use the rear brake caliper up side down and have a new mount welded to the underside of the arm to take the new caliper anchor, but iirc you can still use the original caliper anchor if you make sure there is clearance when working out exactly where the brace sits at that point (next to the caliper) at welding time.

 no I don't have a workshop like yours that's very true, mines damp and cold this time of the year. But I shouldn't complain, at least I have a workshop. I'm sure there is plenty who'd like to have what I have.

Yorkylancs,
The red bars look good, especially with the top yoke, bar brace and all the switches and lever mountings also in black, a good contrast IMHO :D
