Plip! I'm a little bit stressed with my plip! datatool alarm

Post by Chillitt »

Plip! I 've just swapped my rear sub frame cos the old one is Plip! rusty and a bit twisted. The only bother is, the bikes got a Datatool Veto Plip! alarm fitted. So for the last 2 hours, the alarms been in service Plip! mode so it chirps every couple of minutes. Plip! What idiot thought that was a good idea? It's driven me metal, I cant Plip! imagine what its like doing something major to the Plip! bike with that going on all the time! I was going to fit a scottoiler as well but I'm Plip completely frayed now. I f anyone needs me I'll be in a darkened Plip! room.. :wtf:

Oh yes, anyone know how to Plip! turn the Plip! off?
The battery was flat too, from the Plippin alarm...

To take it out of service mode press and hold the 0 button. A manual for the alarm is here

if you have disconnected the battery without putting it in service mode, then you may have "spiked" the alarm. Instructions on how to de-spike it are here

I can get it in and out of service mode ok, and it was in service mode when I took the battery out. The problem is, while it is in service mode it Plips every couple of minutes, to tell me it 's in service mode. It's driven me properly to distration...

Nowt you can do with it then (apart from smashing it to pieces). Mine used to do the same...used to drive me potty. Wrap it in some clean workshop rags to quieten it down...that's what I used to do.
