Some pictures for you. All in all they are not too bad but if i could sort out the scratches it would be a bonus!

Thanks yet again
Jimmy

Not to worry now mate, the guy managed to find all the fittings i need to install them on the bike, the brackets mount on the lower mounting on the pillion pegs where the low levels fix, i have never seen another storm with that type of mounting and i bit unsure how it will work. I managed to sand the scratches out of my Viper can and machine polished it but i'm unsure about the results on a titanium sleve and weather it is possible. The only problem i have now is what to do with the indicators as they will be in the way. The snowplough has been cut so i cant mount them below the pipes. What have you lot done to get around the indicator problem?cliveyandrews wrote: I can trace my hi level brackets and draw them up in a week or 2 if it helps.....
Mine were mounted in holes redrilled on the mudguard - however - now that I've gone to stibbies from the long blueflames, I have the room to put them on original holes. I have an undertray to fit, at which point I will buy an "Rs-end" bracket and tidy the installation...JIMMYJAMES wrote: The snowplough has been cut so i cant mount them below the pipes. Pictures please!JIMMYJAMES wrote:Well a quick update for you: They arrived yesterday by courier at 6pm after i waited in all day for them but they arrived well packed and ready to go. As i was all excited i went outside and fitted them with nothing more than a head torch for light but with one minor problem; the left hand link pipe is too big for my headers. I manged to shim the pipe to make it fit but i'm not happy with it as it blows a tiny bit from it. What can i do to rectify this problem? I dont really want to change perfectly good headers, is this normal and should i have a shim of some kind with the exhaust to make it fit?
Either way they look superb, fit superb (apart from the mentioned problem and the indicators were not a problem) and the sound; oooooh the sound is lovely! I will probably sort the cosmetic issues out in the spring as i ride all year round and the bikes usually muddy this time of year.
I had the same problem with my left link pipe also and had to shim it out. I found the standard exhaust clamps don't really have enough strength in them and noticed while trawling ebay someone had fitted a car type exhaust clamp on that joint. So that's what I did, I also used some heat resistant exhaust sealer on those joints too.JIMMYJAMES wrote: As i was all excited i went outside and fitted them with nothing more than a head torch for light but with one minor problem; the left hand link pipe is too big for my headers. Put it like this, if i pust the pipe on it probably has a gap of just over 1mm all the way round and there is no way it would clamp up. I butchered an old broken stainless exhaust clamp and managed to pack it out and it is clamped down but i hate bodging things plus, there is a very slight blow causing a bit of a backfire on roll off. The guy who had the pipes before me had a much newer model than mine so maybe thats the problem?gilson wrote:

Having not seen the gap you speak of, I'd just put a bigger clamp on it...

I thought that might be the solution, i will probably goop it up tonight to make it gas tight at least. I just hope it all comes apart easy enough if i need to take them off again.sirch345 wrote: I also used some heat resistant exhaust sealer on those joints too.
Rather than using goop (exhaust paste??) why don't you make a gasket around it and then clamp it.Put it like this, if i pust the pipe on it probably has a gap of just over 1mm all the way round and there is no way it would clamp up
