When i had the holes drilled in mine ,(before i removed the end baffle completely),i don't think one side was louder than the other , i certainly never noticed
I don't think i'd let it bother me anyway ,i'm sure it'll be fine
If you take the RH can off and look into the collector you will see that there's some material that intrudes into the pipe, and this restricts gas flow to one side more than the other.
You can feel the difference just by placing the palms of your hands near the outlets (Health and Safety notice- Careful, these may be hot!) and feel the pulses at tickover.
There is info in the Workshop bit about the merits or not of grinding this blocking material out. (Better, more even, less restrictive gas flow vs. tuned back pressure scavenging losses).
Depends IMHO whether you want mid-range torque or top-end.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
