Haven't tried them, but you can get them cheaper than that by Googling BKF702.
The listing for MotoPike in the US has a useful list of other bikes which take the same discs....
But I'm not sure what they mean by " a more efficient area". Either there's more contact area, or the same, or less, surely? Maybe the disc material friction coefficient is better, despite the holes? Or are they saying that the cooling aids heat control? Or gives less fading?
Just seems a daft thing to say without any other detail or facts.

I have done a bit of reaserch on these and what I have found so far seems to be positive (a few chaps with big Kawi ZRXs are running htem, and if they slow those big beasts they should do ok on a Storm, lol). I am just looking at options at the moment, including EBCs, Galfers and the rest.
