indicator spacers

Post by kevw »

hi guys. i want to fit led spear indicators and i'm looking for spacers to fill the holes on the fairings.
i can find cbr ones and sp ones but there is no sign firestorm ones.
i reckon they are the same as fireblade ones but i'm not sure.
can someone tell me if cbr ones will do or give me the name of a dealer for these that would send them to ireland?
thanks in advance.

I used motrax spacers on my storm. Dunno if blade spacers will fit?

i didn't bother with spacers, i got long stem indicators for the front and short for the rear, they bolt onto the fairing where the origionals fit.

the ones i were looking at were motrax but they give a list of the bikes that they fit and the firestorm isn't listed. if they fit your storm then i'm guessing it's the one type for honda.
think i'll chance them.

Couldn't find any spacers big enough when I was looking, so fitted large cats-eye type, and then went over to the teardrop shaped ones which fit over the hole but need a small bolt hole drilled either end (east and west) of the hole in the fairing.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

No, just a resistor each side.
Maplins have cheap ones, you don't need bike-specific ones.

Search in Workshop, I've seen a few comments in threads about this before.

yes, but you can use them on the rear when you replace those with tiny ones.
They cover up the holes for where the wires go through the plastic mudguard if you fit them the wrong way round.
