switchgear swap ?

Anybody tried swapping lighting switches to allow lights to be sitched off. Are there any straight swaps?

You can switch the lights off, is yours an import

its a 2005 model withlights on permanently. Therefore are the older models a staight swap?

Well i have looked at the wiring diagrams and all UK models are wired the same to enable you to switch off the lights, the US version which has lights on all the time is wired differently and swapping the switches will not work.
