Just popped in to say hello I just bought my first firestorm so looking through the forum and seeing what's what really. Looks a good forum with loads of useful stuff so should keep me entertained for a while!
Not the first V twin 1000 i've owned, Aprilia SL1000 was the last but so glad i got rid of the 4 pot for another twin.
would make more use of a set of butt sliders these days

funny you say that about the aprillia, heard a few others say the same - always fancied one meself for the looks & handling
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
I bought the red VTR from member Jimmyjames but will post some photos up at some point. Just had new tyres today and soon having front and rear brakes and new cush drive. The Aprilia is a stonking bike and very under rated. They handle really well, go like stink and sound nice with race cans but make your fingers and elbow go nump in no time. I sold it so the wife and i could do some touring and bought a ZZR1200. Still back on a budget now and the firestorm fits the bill and i love it, bit rough around the edges but it's a used bike and no finance
