I had the Cam Chains and tensioners replaced with brand new ones - new Oil/Filter and Air filter fitted,
All fluids replaced [ Brake, clutch and coolant ] had my headlight assembly replaced, brand new battery,
brake pads replaced, brand new Dunlop Qualifier on the front, and a brand new Dunny Qualifier on the rear.
Yesterday I went for a ride to the Gold Coast. [ For those of you unfamiliar with the place, it's about 250 kms from
where I live, and now owned by the chinks. Sand Surf and Titties everywhere ]...
While cruising on the back roads, I decided to give the ol girl a bit of a spurt [ as you do ]

Didn't push it too much, reckon I may have cracked the 200 there on the odd occasion. The temperature gauge hardly moved.
When I found myself stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the M1 Freeway, The needle began to climb. It got to about half there before we got moving again, but the temp gauge didnt drop.
A little farther down the road I had stopped at the traffic lights and kicked her into neutral and stretched my back and shoulders...The temp gauge was now hot and the fans kicked in. People alongside of me thought I was a transformer and the bike was about to take off vertically or something. If looks could kill....

All of a sudden I heard this clunk.

Just the once...and it felt like the engine was going to conk. It was like the engine had missed - or had a brief fuel block...
When I got home later that evening, I pulled up in my garage, put her into neutral, and let the clutch out to get off, and it clunked again...

Just the once....
admitted, I have only owned the bike for a month, but I dont recall the bike ever doing it before.
I'm just wondering if this is a sign of something more serious, or is it just normal for the VTR?
Any comments greatly appreciated...
Thanks.
