Been a while since I have managed to get on, last time it was a problem with severe corrosion on the starter motor bolt before heading off to the NW200. Anyhow thanks for the advice guys,

and it held out till I got back

and I then got it stripped down and sorted. Nuts were totally fecked. it was just the rust holding it all together. Well greased now, that it is all sorted. New washers, nuts but managed to rescue the bolt. Gave the starter motor a complete overhaul and clean while I was at it. Cleaned it all out and it does seem to spin slightly easier now.
Was just wondering if anybody by any chance (before I go to the Dealership and buy one) would happen to have a spare small rubber boot that covers the clutch pin that connects to the clutch lever lying about. Mine has just deteriorated and the metal coil in it to hold it in place has rusted away to nothing.
