Hi
Hi
Hello everyone, I've just put a £500 deposit on an '02 Bike, pick it up Thursday. It seemed like a good deal, but I'll bow to your judgement. I bought it for £2500, (FSH, 6500 miles, good nick, oval cans,Blue'ish). I've got my first daft question ready, it's described as an F1 model, although it's on an 02 plate, does that mean i have the 16 litre tank instead of the 19 litre ? No drama, just means I'll end up putting on weight as I can't resist a Cadbury's Double Decker each time I fill up. Any advice on a Scott Oiler or similar, the official site doesn't list one, tips appreciated. Anyway, have fun out there and stay safe.

Re: Hi
hi bud, welcome!!!
firts things first? did you say bue ish....
scottoiler, you want a v7 scottoiler the universal one that taps into the vacuum from the tank, or using the m5 adapter that comes with it, tapping into the front cyl intake.
mine is attached to an upright on the rear subframe but i didn't like the oil going on the back carrier so it's now feeding just before the gearbox cog, in the gap between the gearbox sprocket cover and my hugger.
16L ? i'd say if yours is a jerez blue metallic (i can't say it) model it will be a 2000, even tho it's 02 reg'd.
if it has a honda wing on the tank it will be a 19L tank.
if it says firestorm on the tank it's 16L
lovely bikes tho, and surprisingly quick - i'm sure you will enjoy.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Hi and welcome,
As Benny says - blue? If it's the same colour as mine (as in my avatar) it is Jerez Blue metallic
Mine is on a 02 plate but is the smaller tank, IMO it is the best colour, looks great with the sun on it. Now get ready for all the red owners comments
