Just introducing my self

Post by Skully »

Hi all, I have been floating around the forums for a couple of weeks now, reading bits and pieces on this and that and finaly decided to take the plunge and buy a VTR1000f on a X plate 2000. And with that, decided to join up on the .org. I am in North Wales and we have some great sceenery and twistie bits of roads
I have recently sold my CBR900RRv and moved over to the 'V' side.
I have added a couple of pics so you can see my new baby. As I have only had her for 10 days you can tell that I need to start to get on with cleaning her.
So its a BIG HELLO from me!! and LARGE rumble from her.
Skully aka Edd.

Like the Ohlins shock, but you still have standard CCT's and the chain's got a tight spot by the looks of it.....

Cleanest one I've seen for a while, though :D
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Well now you mention it it does seem to pulse a little at slow speeds, so thats a real bonus as I needed an excuse to get a nice D.I.D 530 gold chain

Welcome in Scully - tidy bike, the best colour too. I think mine might look like that underneath all the crud & my entomological collection. I'm just down the Dyffryn Conwy; I'll keep my eyes peeled for you when I'm out & about.

Thnx again for the welcomes. I should be out tomorrow (sunday) weather pemiting. A riding budy and I often have a blat down to Corwen then on for a cuppa at the Pondarosa on the hourshoe pass. Then back to Llandudno via Ruthin and Colwyn Bay. Only 100 mls but not bad for a sunday cuppa
