What size socket do I require for the rear wheel spindle nut. I know it sounds daft but always had some one else work on the bike for me.

27mm on the nut and 24 on the bolt. 
front is just a 24 iirc? and a screwy through the hole!
just a tip - on the front, the spacers are slightly different sizes. be sure to put the spacers back where they came from or you will bend your discs and the wheel alignment will be out...

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
