the main fuse blew and everytime i try to replace it even with the ignition not even on it blows,i spoke to david silver and he said it may be the starter switch that has the main fuse in it,its next to the battery so im kinda drawn to that,it confusing ,ive ordered a new one £18 plus vat just in case,anyone had this happen to them i would be glad of any help

just saw this....

just out of curiosity, is the battery the right way round? as in red lead on + and black earth lead on -

easy mistake to make if you have replaced the battery recently...
another possibility is the starter relay has gone into meltdown and is earthing current, or the r/r has failed and is also earthing current (though that wouldn't blow the 30A fuse i don't think)

and check the red lead from the starter relay isn't damaged and toughing any metalwork, ie, could you have shut the seat down on it??? has it melted against the rear header?
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I agree first thing to check :thumbup:

Has this problem suddenly happeded :?: or had you been working on the bike :?:
