If you already know of the Chimney bank at Rosedale (North Yorks ) you will know what I am talking about, its a very steep gradient with hairpins and the downhill to Rosedale has some amazing jumps and is a real challenge for anybike

Anyhow, took a few quick mates up there yesterday and turned right opposite the Lion pub (Timbo and Firestormike know exactly where) we came behind a couple of vintage bikes......crap I thought we will be behind these two for bloody miles

Well............fook me they were off

It was awesome! The guy on the back bike was backing it in and ginding the pegs, it took a while to pass him. the next guy was a complete lunatic

He must have been a full foot off the deck over the jumps and I have never seen anyone go up the bank as quick (off a supermoto anyway). The various walkers and tourists jaws were dropping as we thundered up the bank. My mates never even got past the first bike

. We stopped at Hutton le Hole and chatted to the old guys (they must have been 60+) the bikes must have been 60+ aswell

great blokes, brilliant riders. My mates absolutely loved Yorkshire (who wouldnt

)
