To baffle or not to baffle?

Howdy folks,

Those of you with removable baffles - Do you keep them in or leave them out?

Do the police ever bother?

had plod behind me and took it very easy lol as it is Very loud when i crack it open!

Keep mine in.Still can hear me way off but when cruising at a constant speed it quietens off so do'snt do yer ears in [carbon cans]

Mine are out - Stubbies too - 105db+ - just back off the throttle if you see hot fuzz...

I put them in for the MOT, and was told it was still far too loud to be legal - but still passed, lol...........

Baffle in on the Fireblade (though it has been cut down to half it's original size). The Micron serpent header with Akra race can sounds awesome without (pops and bangs on the over-run) but is painfully loud without a baffle.

Benny that's a mint idea! wombles knows why i never thought about that.

the blue flames are simple with there cir-clip removal, i had left mine in since fitting the blueflames, but may take them out when i get everything back working.

might finally get this bloody dynojet kit fitted too

i have stubbies also, they are JAC cans and i ride with baffles out, sounds so much better and lets them car drivers no your coming when filtering in traffic. if im on a long journey then i make sure i take them with me just in case "sorry officer i forgot to put them back in"
i leave them athome for work though as its only a 2 mile journey and its all backroads.

If I am going somewhere popular with the dibblies or for a long ride into unknown territory I leave em in. If I know the lie of the land and where the bobbies will be I take em out. Dont see the point in putting them under your seat! Coppers will do you regardless, its not like they are usually stolen (like a tax disc). Mine definately fuels better with em out but to be honest my mates dont even realise they are not fitted the Blue Flames are noisy regardless.

mine has scorpion end cans with "not for road use" stamped on them and no baffles what so ever. must admit they sound awesome.
